The Oberoi, Marrakech

Our stay at The Oberoi Marrakech is one of the most unforgettable experiences. This hotel is a masterpiece in many ways: the architectural style perfectly combines modern luxury resorts and traditional Moroccan culture.

The hotel is nested in a Mediterranean orchard with centuries-old olive trees with an incredibly epic view. Many elements of nature are balanced so beautifully to create visual harmony. Biking around the property was one of my favorite moments here; I just felt so much peace and freedom biking through the lanes among olive trees.

The courtyard is inspired by the famous Ben Youssef Madrasa in Marrakech, with all the woodwork details handcrafted by the craftsmen. It is a view you have to see to believe. Many decoration details here honor traditional Moroccan culture and showcase its beauty on the next level, but at the same time, is luxurious and comfortable. The Deluxe Villa with Private Pool is modernly designed, with thoughtful traditional Moroccan elements.

The dining experience we had here was equally unforgettable. Our breakfast at the terrace of Tamimt Restaurant had a breathtaking view. When the sun slowly climbs up the horizon, the landscape is immersed in the golden hue, and the snow-covered Atlas Mountains make this view even more surreal. We also had a traditional Moroccan breakfast set up in the courtyard. This is no better definition of what a luxury traditional Moroccan culinary experience is like. The food and the view made the perfect combination.
